Primary Years Program
At Buckingham School, our students from kindergarten through fifth grade participate in the Primary Years Programme (PYP) as part of the IB Continuum.
They learn in friendly places that help them consolidate what they are learning. Our curricular model is based on the development of competencies so our students can interpret, argue and apply what they have learned in their daily lives.

The Process
The process is carried out in small groups, where the values of harmonious coexistence, such as respect and warmth, are reinforced. Most subjects are taught in English by qualified teachers. In fifth grade they take the Preliminary English Test (PET), a standardized English test given by the Cambridge University.

Children in Grades 1 to 3
Participate in recreational and sports activities, some of which are offered at the CAFAM compensation fund, due to the availability of other scenarios and instructors (swimming pools, ping-pong, taekwondo, tennis, among others).

In Elementary School
The use of digital ecosystems is a valuable tool for learning. In grades 4 and 5, each student has his or her personal device. Together with their parents, elementary school children enjoy their academic achievements and the development of their skills and talents.
In Accordance with Our Vision
of forming citizens for a world in constant change, the school is certified by the International Baccalaureate Organization as a PYP (Primary Years Program) from 3 to 11 years old. This program is based on the integral development of students, preparing them to actively participate in their learning process.
