Authors of Your Own Book Project
Discover the fascinating world of creativity and expression in our exciting literary project! This wonderful undertaking emerges during a visit to the Bogotá Book Fair. Our students, captivated by a specific theme, dive into the exciting task of writing, illustrating and publishing their own books.
This project transcends the boundaries of the classroom, combining Art, Library and Spanish classes in a transdisciplinary experience. Our students not only become authors and illustrators, they also learn to express their emotions and feelings, sharing their captivating stories with their loved ones.
Imagine our young creators, dedicating these wonderful narratives to their families and friends, building emotional bridges through words and images. This project not only nurtures creativity, but also fosters the integral development of our students, providing them with valuable skills to communicate with the world around them.
Support for Units of Inquiry
The Buckingham Schoool Library promotes the reading habit by providing tools that enrich the educational experience. Through the Programme of Inquiry, we immerse ourselves in inquiry, supporting the development of key concepts related to specific reading material in inquiry units designed by our teachers.
