Middle Years Program

At Buckingham School, our students from sixth to ninth grade participate in the Middle Years Programme (MYP) as part of the IB continuum.

Our MYP students explore knowledge and begin the search for their life project following our five values: Warmth, Quality, Excellence, Innovation and Transcendence. All this, with the guidance of an excellent group of highly qualified teachers and the best educational resources.

The Lower Baccalaureate curriculum completes the process initiated in elementary school (PYP) and strengthens the quality of the bilingual education that the school offers.

At this level, we focus on students developing skills that connect them with the reality of our country and the world. We apply the Middle Years Program (MYP) of the IB International Baccalaureate. Through this certification, we provide our students with an academic experience that fosters an understanding of the connections between traditional disciplines and the real world. We want them to become critical, reflective and ethical thinkers with a broad perspective of knowledge.

Our students certify their knowledge of English through the First Certificate (8th grade) implemented by the Cambridge University.
